Khon Tun is a magical being that lives between the human world and the heaven, in teh Himmapan forest. This race of creature is said to be very musical in nature. They are very keen on virtually all sorts of musical instruments. There are many places in old text and literature which mentioned Khon Tun.
Chattanthahatthi is a Himmapan animal in the elephant family. Appearance is an elephant with a white body like silver. There is a bright white ivory like white gold. Move fast : take a trip around the world just from morning to the evening in the same day.
Nang Ng-uek or mermaid is the marine creature that got mentioned in almost every cultures. Across the world, the creature's described as a beautiful maid and the lower body of a fish.
Thep Norasri is a mixed lion which has the upper body of a human. Sometimes it has the lower body of a lion, and in occasions it has the look of a deer's.
Makalee Pons are strange female beings which are born from magical trees exist only in Himmapan Forest. The strange tree would yeild fruits, and Makalee Pon would come out of these fruits once they are rippen.
The most important creatures of the Himmapan forest is probably the Garuda. Garuda is the king of birds, half-man and half-bird, the vehicle of Vishnu, a Hindu God. Descriptions of Garuda vary from legend to legend. He’s usually represented as having the head, beak, wings, and talons of an eagle. With the torso like that of human. His face appears white, his wings red, and shiny golden body.
Thep Kinnaree is one of the loveliest of the Himmapan beings. Described as a beautiful half-woman, half swan, with the head and torso of a woman yet below the delicately tapered waist she has the body, tail and legs of a swan. Kinnaree also has human arms and the wings of a swan. While the Kinnaree has a male counterpart (the Kinnara or Kinnanorn) and is similar in form. The Kinnaree is renowned for her excellence in singing, dancing and her graceful form is often seen in sculpture, traditional architectures, and temple murals.
"Gingala- To", Gingala is a type of non-human animal. with the head of a man with the body of a bird live in Himmapan forestAnd To, it is an animal that was born from a mix of 9 animal species. According to legend, the Shan people said that when the Buddhahas blessed his mother in heaven After the end of the Buddhist Lent, he came down to the earth, the gods and the Himmapan beasts.came out to meet including Gingala- To too.
The Naga, or the king of snakes, is a srpent like creature with beard and pointed crown. There are 4 family in Himmapan : Green Naga , Black Naga , Rainbow Naga and Golden Naga
Arhan is a type of animal in the Himmapan forest. It has the body and wings of a bird, has two feet, but has a human or giant head. Look similar to Kinnaree but smaller.
Upsorn Srihas are half-human half-deer creatures. They are abundant in the forest of Himmapan. Sometimes, the creatures are represented as humans with the lower body of a lion.
Thep Puksee is a mixed creature between a human and a bird. The different thing between this creature and Thep Kinna Norn and Thep Kinnaree seems to be the human like legs.
Mayura Khon Tun has mixed features of Khon Tun and a Peacok.
Nymphs are female ghosts that dwell in large trees. Buddhism considers nymphs to be Khun Tun who are born within a tree. and different from Rukkhatewada in that when the tree that resided in it fell The Rukkhatewada will continue to move to other trees. but the nymph remains in the tree even after the wood has been processed.
